The Rotax 916 iS / iSc is a dynamic, turbocharged four-stroke piston aircraft engine engineered to deliver an outstanding power-to-weight ratio and a 2,000-hour Time Between Overhaul (TBO). Designed for high performance and efficiency, this engine provides full take-off power up to 15,000 feet and reliable operation at altitudes of up to 23,000 feet.
Featuring redundant electronic fuel injection and ignition, an advanced Engine Management System (EMS) with eco mode, and a turbocharger with intercooler, the Rotax 916 iS series ensures smooth, efficient, and dependable performance across a wide operating range. Available in iS (ASTM-compliant) and iSc (EASA CS-E certified) variants, it is suitable for a broad range of light and experimental aircraft applications.
